( That would require they were properly assessed in the first place. That was when, exactly, under a Liberal government ? And in comments : not let troops feel let down for being asked to do an impossible job and not complete it. What part of impossible is not comprehended ? I never accepted the premise the way to value soldiers' lives is to piss them away on badly-constructed programs. Afghanistan never met the parameters established for "Peacekeeping" missions. The Russians could give you some ideas why. And the Brits : 12,000 lost at the Khyber Pass - in 1835 !* )
