New Survey On Estimated Deaths In Iraq Refutes Lancet Reports
In October 2013 a new study was released in the PLOS Medicine journal
estimating the number of deaths following the 2003 invasion of Iraq. It
attempted to avoid and make up for some of the criticism of previous
surveys that looked at fatalities in the country. These included the 2004
and 2006 Lancet papers, the 2004 Iraq Living Conditions Survey, the 2007
Opinion Business Research (ORB) poll, and the 2008 Iraq Family Health
Survey. The new report estimated 460,000 excess deaths occurred after the

integrity of the research of the Consortium on Chicago School Research or
Johns Hopkins’ Everyone Graduates. It also reads like a diplomatic call for
New York City reformers to heed social science when taking the next steps

Rob Zerban Announces A Rematch Against Paul Ryan In Wisconsin
Last year, with no help from the DCCC (unless you want to consider negative
help of Steve Israel calling wealthy donors and telling them to not "waste"
their money on Rob Zerban), Rob Zerban came closer to defeating Paul Ryan
than any Democrat had before. Ryan represents a swing district in southeast
Wisconsin, WI-01 (Kenosha, Racine, Janesville, Muskego, Elkhorn and
southern Milwaukee suburbs like Oak Creek and Greendale. Spending
$6,651,221 to Zerban's $2,250,102, Ryan took 199,715 votes (55%) to Rob's

According to Wikipedia, Greg Davies 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) tall and has size 13
feet whilst Richard Osman is 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) (his shoes size is not
recorded).
So Greg Davies is taller but his size 13 feet seem a little small, I'm only

The Deric Longden Swanwick Memorial Prize
The Writers Summer School in Swannwick, Derbyshire has played host to many
writers. Past speakers have included; Iain Banks, Ruth Rendell, PD James,
Norman Wisdom, Terry Pratchett, Colin Dexter and Deric Longden. Deric was
from Derby and met his second wife, author Aileen Armitage at the annual
writing event. He had been sent to interview her for Radio Derby and became
